This was a trip from Chicago through the Black Hills & Yellowstone & Seattle, down the coast highway to the POCI convention in Ontario, CA.  It was a 3 week trip. It was too long for the time we had, we had to make about 400 miles a day & with site seeing made for some long days. We had an extra day in the Black Hills & Yellowstone & Seattle. Many didn’t make the whole trip because of the length. Enjoy the photos.

It wasn't a bad museum, just not enough time.

The hotel was in downtown Seattle, we kind of worried about the cars setting in the parking lot right by the street but they were OK.

Frank & Penny San Marco joined us in Astoria. He was driving his just completed restoration to enter into points judged show. He had the bias ply tires on. After this trip they tried to get the rules changed to allow radial tires in points judged.

This is the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is located 3.5 miles southeast of McMinnville, Oregon. This is the home of the original Spruce Goose a massive airplane built entirely of wood due to wartime restrictions on metals.

Don Kobel had alternator problems on his 92 G.P. with the dual overhead cam engine. We couldn't fix that on the road. We were waiting to make sure he found a place that could replace the alternator. He caught up with us at Ontario, CA
