Grand Prix Chapter is an international Specialty Chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International (P.O.C.I.), established June 24, 1988. The Chapter is dedicated to the historic preservation and restoration as well as enjoyment of all years of Pontiac’s Grand Prix models. Objectives of the Chapter include expanding interest and awareness of the Pontiac Grand Prix as well as activities, promotion of social activity among its members and promotion of cooperation in historic preservation and restoration activities. The Chapter accepts all new members who have interest in, own or are pursuing ownership of any Pontiac model particularly the Grand Prix model, but not limited to such ownership. Our present membership covers many states as well as Canada! Just like P.O.C.I. the majority of our membership is in the mid-west, but our goal is to have a member in every state in the U.S.A. The Grand Prix Chapter is dedicated to all Grand Prix’s from 1962 to the last model off the assembly line. The chapter has fluctuated from a low of 120 to a high of 475 members. As you know many car clubs go thru those excitement cycles and at present we are at roughly 250 members. Historically, we have been one of the largest chapters of P.O.C.I. We like to drive our cars and we do just that every year to the P.O.C.I. Conventions, which is where we have our yearly meetings. The newsletter the “PRIX VIEWS” is as good as it gets for content and G.P. related items of interest and has won the golden Quill award many times. Remember the big cars from Pontiac are not the quickest, but when we arrive, we arrive in style! Cruise over to the “Join the Grand Prix Chapter” page for more on how to join, the chapter that drives their cars, near and far……….
